YOU ARE WONDERFULLY AND FEARFULLY MADE

A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely
satisfied in life. But one day he saw a swan.
“This swan is so white,” he thought, “and I am so
black. This swan must be the happiest bird in
the world.”
He expressed his thoughts to the swan.
“Actually,” the swan replied, “I was feeling that I
was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot,
which has two colors. I now think the parrot is
the happiest bird in creation.” The crow then
approached the parrot. The parrot explained, “I
lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock. I
have only two colors, but the peacock has
multiple colors.”
The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and
saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see
him. After the people had left, the crow
approached the peacock. “Dear peacock,” the
crow said, “you are so beautiful. Every day
thousands of people come to see you. When
people see me, they immediately shoo me away.
I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.”
The peacock replied, “I always thought that I
was the most beautiful and happy bird on the
planet. But because of my beauty, I am
entrapped in this zoo. I have examined the zoo
very carefully, and I have realized that the crow
is the only bird not kept in a cage. So for past
few days I have been thinking that if I were a
crow, I could happily roam everywhere.”
That’s our problem too. We make unnecessary
comparison with others and become sad. We
don’t value what God has given us. This all leads
to the vicious cycle of unhappiness. Learn to be
happy in what you have instead of looking at
what you don’t have. There will always be
someone who will have more or less than you
have. Person who is satisfied with what he/she
has, is the happiest
person in the world. That's
how we are us human beings and always be
proud to be your self

OVERCOMING THE DECEIT OF THE DEVIL//By Praisekingsblog

I came around after God has passed his judgement on Adam and Eve. These were the simple questions I ask them:
1. Were your eyes blind when God created you? For the Devil told them that their eyes will be OPEN
Genesis 3:5
KJV; God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

2. Now that your eyes are open, what do you see? (SHAME), GUILT FEAR, DOWN CASTED, ever since your eyes have been open have you become like god?

3. In what image were the both of you made?

Genesis 1:26
KJV: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
For the Devil had earlier told told them they will be like gods.

Now the lesson is this since you start obeying the devil how many peace have you find how joyful are you? For moses would say I preferred to suffer with my fellow Jew than to enjoy the pleasures of Egypt /sin for a while. The world's joy is for a while but the joy that comes from knowing the Lord Jesus Christ brings peace and joy in the holy ghost, serving the Lord. Are you still ruled by you selfish ambitions. Colossians 3:1 say
1
KJV: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2
KJV:Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Be determine today to obey God. For Jesus told Satan it is written
Matthew 4:10

KJV: Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Make this scripture your determination this year.
Philippians 4:8-9
8
KJV: Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9
KJV: Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL

See 11 Things That Shows Recession Is Almost coming to an End- FG

The reasons stated in the report are summarized as follows:

1. Over-Subscription of FG’s Eurobond.
According to the report, government targeted $1 billion but got $7.8 billion in one week, which has confirmed the confidence level of the international investment community in Nigeria’s economic reform agenda.

2. Growth in non-oil sector of the economy.

The report states that agriculture grew by 4.54%, crop production is at nearly 5% (its highest since the first quarter of 2014) and the solid mineral sector averaged about 7% during the third quarter of 2016.

3. The Anchor Borrowers Programme (ABP) of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The programme substantially raised local rice production in 2016 (yields improved from two tonnes per hectare to as much as seven tonnes per hectare, in some states) and produced a model agricultural collaboration between Lagos and Kebbi states.

4. The Fertilizer Intervention Project.

According to the report, the project involves a partnership between the federal government and the government of Morocco, for the supply of phosphate. It is on course to significantly raise local production, and bring the retail price of fertilizer down by about 30 percent.

5. Take-off of the newly established Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN).
With an initial funding of US$1.3bn (provided by the World Bank, German Development Bank, the African Development Bank and Agence Française de Development), medium and long-term loans to will be available for Micro, Small, Medium-scale Enterprises (MSME) for job creation.

6. A new Social Housing Programme.
The programme is kicking off in 2017. The ‘Family Homes Fund’ will take off with a 100 billion naira provision in the 2017 Budget. (The rest of the funding will come from the private sector).

7. More than N800 billion released for capital expenditure in the 2016 budget.
The report claimed that this is the largest ever capital spending within a single budget year in the history of Nigeria. These monies have enabled the resumption of work on several stalled projects – road, rail and power projects – across the country.

8. Implementation of the Social Investment and Empowerment Programme (SIP).
All the four components of the SIP, the report noted, have now taken off. It described the SIP as the largest and most ambitious social safety net programme in the history of Nigeria, with more than 1 million beneficiaries so far: – 200,000 N-Power beneficiaries, 23,400 Government Enterprise and Empowerment (GEEP) Scheme beneficiaries, 1,000,000 Homegrown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP) beneficiaries, and ongoing Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) payments across nine pilot states.
It said:

9. Strategic Engagements with OPEC and in the Niger Delta
According the report, the engagements have played an important part in raising expected oil revenues. Already, Nigeria’s External Reserves have grown by more than $4 billion in the last three months.

10. Collaboration with China.
President Buhari’s April 2016 visit to China, has unlocked billion of dollars in infrastructure funding. Construction will begin on the first product of that collaboration, a 150km/hour rail line between Lagos and Ibadan, in Q1 2017.

11 The National Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (NERGP).
The Federal Government’s medium-term Economic Plan, is due for launch in February 2017, and will chart a course for the Nigerian economy over the next four years (2017 – 2020),” it stated

12. The continuous increase in the foreign reserve despite the presence of recession

The bitter truth is whether they like it or not, recession will soon be over,

Whether Magu is confirmed or not, the anti-corruption crusade will go on,

Whether PMB contests or not, APC will still win in 2019,

Read What Amosun Has To Say About His Visit To Buhari In London

One of the few people reported to have visited President Muhammadu Buhari in London where he is spending his medical vacation, Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has finally opened up about his visit.

There has been controversy over a picture showing Mr. Amosun and the president in the United Kingdom, amid allegations an old image was edited to make it look recent.

However, on Monday at an event at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Mr. Amosun told journalists that he indeed visited the president in London.

The event at the library was a climate change knowledge immersion workshop organised by the Federal Government in conjuction with the World Bank.

“Yes it is true I visited our president in London and he is doing fine. If you ask me pointedly whether I saw him or not, yes I did and that is the only thing that I can say. And of course you can see he is very well, he is okay. So I don’t know what else you want me to say,” Mr. Amosun said.

Asked of the condition he found the president when he visited, t‎he governor said he was not in the right position to talk about his health, saying such should be left to his spokesperson who were already doing that.

“I am not one of the spokespersons of Mr. President; so it will be out of place for me to talk on that. But then, they are doing their job and you’ve listened to all that they have said,” Mr. Amosun said.

Moral Ethics behavior of Good Home Trained Person

Memory Verse: 1Corin 14:40Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order.

”.

Text: 1Timothy 5:17-18 (The holy Bible) Version.

17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

Introduction:
Moral Ethics refers to a set of rules that describes acceptable conduct in society. Ethics serve as a guide to moral daily living and helps us judge whether our behavior can be justified.
Ethics refers to society’s sense of the right way of living our daily lives. It does this by establishing rules, principles, and values on which we can base our conduct. The concepts most directly associated with ethics are truth, honesty, fairness, and equity.

Moral and ethical behavior expected from a person that has a good a good training are:
1.    Good conduct towards Elders
How to handle elder is one of the issue that every good parents are to address in the up-bringing of their children. Prov.22:6 God expect younger once to treat Elders with great humility 1pt 5:5. For example;

a.    If you see an Elder with an heavy load you shouldn’t be told to assist before you do so.
b.    Stand up for an elder when he/she do not have seat.
c.    Greet an elder first before he/she greet you.
d.    Give way for an elder when both of you meet in a narrow way. Etc.

It is unethical for workers and ministers, seeing their pastor carry heavy load and pretends not seeing it. These load could be physically or logically; logically in the sense that the pastor is engage in several works in the church. People with good moral ethics are expected to assist to help their pastors in order to make the work of God easier for them.
Others rebuke their pastor and speak ill of them and called this boldness. But it is lack of home training.
By the virtue of your pastor’s office is an elder even such is a child you can give birth to. Therefore if he does something wrong, prayerfully bring it to his notice. Heb.13:7, Gal.6:7, Phil.4:10-12

2.    Anti-social behavior
It very common among Christian to be disorderly in public places and even in the church. This aptitude show lack of spiritual and home training:
a.    Rushing for food or chair in a large gathering.
b.    Littering the environment with waste.
c.    Reckless talk and lack of good table manner.
d.    Driving against traffic and braking traffic laws.
e.    Improper dressing of any kind. Deut.22:5, 2Corin3:2, Phil.316-18

                         Questions
1.    How do you relate with those God have put over you?
2.    Mention some ways God expect us to treat elders
3.    How does home training affect the church today?

‘Nigeria Will Stop Fuel Importation By 2019’ – Kachikwu

Mr Ibe Kachikwu, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources has said that Nigeria will stop importing refined petroleum products by 2019.

Kachikwu made the disclosure at a public hearing on the review of petroleum pricing template for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) organised by the House of Representatives on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said that within two years, the Federal Government revived refineries that were non-functional to contribute about eight million out of over 20 million litres of petrol consumed in the country daily.

He explained that the Federal Government initiated a model which attracted foreign investors to partner with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to repair the country’s refineries within the two years period.

“This has consistently served as a target for this government so that by December 2018, NNPC must be able to deliver on some of the terms given them, one of which is to reduce petroleum importation by 60 per cent.

“By 2019, we should be able to exist completely on the importation of petroleum products in this country.

“Cognisant of the fact that Dangote is building one refinery, we expect to have an excess situation,’’ he said.
The minister said that Nigeria must also have the capacity to stop exporting crude oil.

According to him, selling crude oil is not different from selling agricultural produce in an unprocessed manner.

“The world is leaving that, every member of OPEC is leaving that because of the pricing, volume and market challenges is now shifting from selling crude to selling refined petroleum products.

“That is what this country must do and there is a template we are working on.

He further said that the ministry intended to create an enabling environment that would promote local refining of crude oil.

“The issue is not giving licences to illegality, the issue is how do we ensure that we create an investment environment that pulls individuals from illegal creek activities to legal business activities.

“We are looking at modular refineries, about 60 licences were given out just before this government came in and none of that was utilised because it requires a lot of money, land and crude security.

“But now we are going out to identify refineries, get individuals who can build refineries on the same platforms where our refineries are and identify some key specific modular refineries backed up by foreign investments working with state governments.

“Hopefully this will address the restiveness you see in the Niger Delta,’’ the minister said.

On the possibility of reducing the fuel pump price, Kachikwu said there was no padding in the petroleum pricing template for PMS currently sold at N145 per litre.

According to him, 71 percent of the cost is for the production and freight, 18 per cent balance is covered by depot charges and retailers margin.

“In other words the storage tanks, the amount you get by verge of operating a filling station takes another 18 per cent, the output of those is already taking you to roughly about 90 per cent.

“The transportation is less than 10 per cent; we probably can do better, the templating is an insignificant 1 per cent or 2 per cent but that’s not where the problem is.

“The problem is with foreign exchange rate. There are two key elements in the template, how much you buy it is internationally fixed, it is not a Nigerian issue the cost of foreign exchange is a monetary policy issue.

“So at the time we did the template the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) monetary policy was N245, that was the basis upon which we calculated the pricing, today N305 is the exchange rate.

“And what we have tried to do is to ensure that anybody who sells us foreign exchange follows basically the instructions of the CBN in terms of the amount,’’ he said.

Apostle Suleman Gets Invitation To White House, To Meet Donald Trump

The Founder and President of Omega Fire Ministry Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman has sent his warm appreciation to Nigerians, Africans and the world in general for their exceptional show of love during his recent encounter with the Department of the State Security (DSS).

Suleman in his thank you message during the kick-off of this year’s edition of the annual ‘The Ebenezer’ programme to mark the ministry’s 13thanniversary, said:

“I’m grateful to all. I never knew I was so loved. For the first time ever, fellow Nigerians behaved like Americans. Nigerians naturally have business-like mentality but I was shocked that on this particular issue, 90 percent of Nigerians spoke with one voice, saying enough is enough.

We were not fighting any government, we just declared our stand that we are not cowards and we cannot be cowed by fear. I was so shocked at the level of strength and courage that I had throughout the period.

And the courage I surmounted was aided by the love and exceptional concern shown me from all over the world. From over 70 nations, I received a lot of phone calls and text messages from people showing their love and compassion. I got messages of love from different people that I have never even met. I got up to 18,000 different text messages. I read and read. The solidarity was overwhelming. I was moved to tears,’ states the man of God.”

Furthering, Apostle Suleman said,

“One thing that first moved me was when I got to Abuja to see the DSS, the crowd I saw almost made me to go into hiding. The crowd was so massive that they were ready to take bullets on my behalf. It moved me.
The love shown was not just about me but for what they believe in and it gave me so much courage and made me to realize that I was not alone. I’m not taking it for granted, that’s why I’m saying thank you to all. I have to confess that I’m yet to recover from that show of affection. I therefore want to enjoin Nigerians that in whatever situation that we find ourselves, they should keep hearing our voice and I want them to know that one day, things would be fine.

Meanwhile, the firebrand cleric will be visiting the White House, the American seat of power, in March. According to a reliable source from the church, Apostle Suleman’s planned visit was on the invitation of the Mayor of Washington.

It was gathered that during the august visit, the man of God will have a prayer session with both the Mayor and the president of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump.

The invitation, the source notes, was in recognition of Suleman’s selfless service and commitment to humanity and delivering souls.

The Ebenezer programme of OFM started on Wednesday 8th of February, 2017, with people from 32 countries of the world arriving Auchi, the headquarters of OFM worldwide. This year’s programme themed ‘From Glory To Glory’ will end on Sunday 12th.

Also, the church is warming up for the birthday celebration of the matriarch of the ministry, Reverend Dr. (Mrs.) Lizzy Suleman on Sunday, February 26th 2017, although the birth date is February 28th.

Prophet Who Predicted Jonathan’s Defeat Says What Will Happen To Buhari, Agbaje

Osun State-born Prophet, J.K. Hephzibah, otherwise known as Baba Peculiar, who predicted the defeat of Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential election has disclosed that the President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari needs fervent prayers from Nigerians in order not to die in power like President Umaru Yar’Adua.

The respectable cleric made this known on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in Lagos while addressing national issues.

According to Hephzibah: “One of my seven-point messages to the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, that is been packaged to be released during my miracle night in Lagos in a few days time is that Nigerians should pray for President Buhari in order to avert his death.

“I saw the new president in my vision being kept somewhere for most of his followers to rule this country.”

Baba Peculiar, in his predictions, further said Buhari, as loved by many, is not the messiah to save this country.

He said he would just rule for a period of time to pave the way for God’s chosen person that will take Nigeria to the Promise Land.

The cleric added: “I see Professor Yemi Osinbajo ruling this country, while General Buhari will just be there like a ceremonial head.

“In fact, Osinbajo also needs to be careful because he would be assassinated by an ex-military Head of State.

“God told me he is giving the mandate to Jimi Agbaje of PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) in Lagos State, but the power that be in APC (All Progressives Congress) will try to upturn the election in their favour and if care is not taken, this may lead to crisis.”

The notable prophet, in his conclusion, urged all men of God to pray for Buhari in order for him to complete is term.

“I implore Nigerian men of God to avoid being used by politicians.

“By doing so, they are playing God and the consequence will not be palatable,” said Hephzibah.

"BOKO HARAM IS CURENTLY BROKE"-– UN

The destructive Boko Haram insurgency group is currently plagued by financial difficulties, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, has said.

Feltman stated this while briefing the Security Council on the UN Secretary-General’s Fourth Report on the threat the group poses to international peace and security efforts to “check and roll it back” on Tuesday

The UN envoy also noted that Boko Haram was under intense military pressure, but warned against undermining its capacity to launch fatal attacks.

“ISIL-affiliate Boko Haram is attempting to spread its influence and commit terrorist acts beyond Nigeria.

“And Boko Haram remains a serious threat, with several thousand fighters at its disposal.

“It is, however, plagued by financial difficulties and an internal power struggle, and has split in two factions,” Feltman said.

While the previous reports on the subject had focused on South East Asia, Yemen and East Africa, Libya and Afghanistan, the fourth report focused on Europe, North Africa and West Africa.

It noted that ISIL had conducted a range of attacks in Europe since declaring in 2014 its intent to target the region.

Some of these attacks were directed and facilitated by ISIL personnel, while others were enabled by ISIL providing guidance or assistance or were inspired through its propaganda, it said.

The report stated that while the military offensive in Libya had dislodged ISIL from its stronghold Sirte, the group’s threat to Libya and neighbouring countries persists.

“Its fighters, estimated to range from several hundred to 3,000, have moved to other parts of the country.

“ISIL has increased its presence in West Africa and the Maghreb, though the group does not control significant amounts of territory in the region.

“The reported pledge of loyalty to ISIL by a splinter faction of Al-Mourabitoun led by Lehbib Ould Ali may elevate the level of the threat.”
Following the increased military pressure, Feltman said ISIL is now on the defensive militarily in several regions, but was also adapting to military pressure by resorting to covert communications such as the ‘dark web’.
“Although its income and the territory under its control are shrinking, ISIL still appears to have sufficient funds to continue fighting,” he warned.
Feltman noted that ISIL relies mainly on income from extortion and hydrocarbon exploitation, even though resources from the latter are on the decline.
According to him, UN Member States are concerned that ISIL will try to expand other sources of income, such as kidnapping for ransom, and increase its reliance on donations.
“ISIL is adapting in several ways to military pressure, resorting to increasingly covert communication and recruitment methods, including by using the ‘dark web,’ encryption and messengers,” he warned.
The report also noted some of the measures taken by Member States and the UN, stressing the need to develop sustained and coordinated responses to the grave threat posed by ISIL and associated groups and entities.
Feltman said that there were 19 universal counter-terrorism conventions and protocols, as well as related regional instruments on international terrorism, and relevant UN General Assembly and Security Council resolutions.
“But we need to do more, as Member States continue to face significant challenges to ensure effective international cooperation,” he said.
He warned that foreign terrorist fighters leaving the conflict could pose a grave risk to their homeland or to the countries they are travelling to or transiting through, such as Iraq and Syria’s neighbours, as well as countries in the Maghreb.
“Ultimately, it is the spread and consolidation of peace, security, development and human rights that will most effectively deprive terrorism of the oxygen it needs to survive,” he concluded. (NAN)
